Welcome to our first post of the year. Term 3 is Fete time and the entire school will be buzzing with preparations for our biggest fundraiser of the year. This year the Fete will be held on November 12th from 12-3pm @ school.
This is a time when we can come together as a community and enjoy rides, fantastic food, games, raffles, a variety of stalls and some wonderful entertainment. Not only can we have an amazing day but we can make the event a great fundraising event. To do this we need the entire school community - students, parents, teachers and friends - to come on board to make it happen. Read on and follow this blog to see how you can do your bit to help us prepare for the Fete.
WHAT WILL THE MONEY BE USED FOR?
Everything we raise during the Fete will go towards the upgrade of various learning spaces within the school including the new heart of the school, the library.
CLASS COMPETITION...
As we move closer to the Fete we will be asking for a variety of donations and help. When you or your child help out in even just a little way points are earned for your class. We will have an ongoing list of where each class is placed in the race towards earning a great class fun day! We are currently in the process of confirming what this will involve but we will let you all know ASAP.
1ST EVENT - MUFTI DAY!
Friday 8th April will be our first Mufti Day for 2016. Just bring a Lucky Dip item, wrapped and labelled for a boy or girl. Perfect places to buy these are The Warehouse, K-mart, Uncle Bills and $2 stores. What would you love to win in a lucky dip?
